Enrollment Information

  • Our HSD Preschool follow the Hawthorne School District Calendar.
     
  • To be eligible for the HSD Preschool, your child must be 3 or 4 years old and fully toilet trained by September 1 of the school year and meet State Income requirements to qualify for our preschool program.
     

Enrollment Steps:

  1. Contact Helen Belloso, the Site Supervisor for the Hawthorne School District Preschool either by phone (310) 676-1934 or by email: hbelloso@hawthorne.k12.ca.us to begin the enrollment process.
     
  2. You must complete the HSD Eligibility/ Wait List Application and provide proof of income (Ex: Pay Check Stubs, Verification of Benefits Letter, Employer Letter for cash only payment, Disability/Unemployment Benefits, etc.) to determine income eligibility.
     
  3. Upon income eligibility, the family will be provided with a Preschool Enrollment Packet.
     
  4. Families are required to submit the Enrollment Packet and the required documents to finalize enrollment or to be placed on the Wait List.
